The one hectare (2.5 acre) garden is set high in the Otway Ranges with
spectacular views. In spring, cool climate plants such as rhododendrons,
alpines and bulbs flourish. Roses, lilies and clematis are set off by
mature shady trees during the summer months. Autumn brings rich colours
to the deciduous trees and the final flush of roses and perennials.
The moderate climate with rare frosts and an average rainfall of 1000
mm makes gardening here very rewarding. A large range of rare and unusual
exotics thrives in these conditions.
For those just wishing to visit the garden:
The garden is open to groups of 12 or more; bookings are essential.
