Garden Gallery

Wanawong has been a participant in the Australian Open Garden Scheme for many years. The one hectare garden is set high in the Otway Ranges with spectacular views. In spring, cool climate plants such as rhododendrons, alpines and bulbs flourish. Roses, lilies and clematis are set off by mature shady trees during the summer months. Autumn brings rich colours to the deciduous trees and the final flush of perennials.
Kangaroos, wallabies and wide range of birds are regular visitors.
For those just wishing to visit the garden, we are open to groups of twelve or more by appointment.
Bookings are essential to avoid disapointment.
Wanawong is a two hour drive from Melbourne, with easy coach access for large groups.
Plenty of sheltered seating is available for those wishing to have morning/afternoon tea or lunch on site.
Toilet facilities are available.
